CARLOS TESORO

Carlos Tesoro is a first generation Filipino-American born in Quezon City, Philippines and raised in Arleta, CA. As director/writer, his short film iBully was screened and awarded by the New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles. Over the years, he has worked in the entertainment industry in multiple roles such as Production Designer, Marketing Producer and Creative Associate. He received his MFA in Acting from Yale School of Drama. 

 

Carlos started as an actor but quickly found his passion for behind the camera work. He worked in many different roles that allowed him to travel throughout the world. As a creative associate, he worked with singing divas such as Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis and K-pop boy band artist JYJ. He was a segment production assistant for shows like VH1 Diva’s, AMA and NBC’s The Voice. Brands such as PepsiCo., Unicef and Netflix allowed him to hone his production design skills further. Always the consummate troubleshooter, Carlos enjoys working on set regardless of the position. 

 

During this pandemic, the creative juices have started to flow and Carlos is looking forward to sharing stories that might make an impact for the AAPI community.
